Mary Catherine Strickland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 87, Mary Catherine Strickland of Saint Marys, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wade Sr. and Mertice Petty; her husband David Strickland, Sr.; her daughter Kathy Strickland; her grandson Chad Riggins; and her sisters, Lorraine Frost and Louise Walker.
She is survived by: her children, David Strickland, Jr. (Melissa) of St. Marys and Robyn White (George) of St. Marys; her siblings, Shirley Hall (James Roy) of St. Marys, James Petty, Jr. (Lisa) of St. Marys and Larry Petty of St. Marys; her grandchildren, Courtney Clark, Chelsey Dimsdale and Dana Parker; her great grandchildren, McKenzie Miller, Caylee Miller, Chloe Clark, Cole Riggins and Bailey Clark; and her great great grandchild Nicholas Altamirano, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Westside Baptist Church building fund.
