He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Thrift and Idell Thrift; his wife Wanda Thrift; his granddaughter Amber Renee Morris; his brother Curtis Thrift; his children, Renee Thrift of Kingsland, Travis Thrift (Jenell) of Hortense and Scott Thrift of Jacksonville Florida; his grandchildren, Taylor Morris, Wes, Gabe, Colt and Greyson Thrift; his great grandchildren, Guy and Grady; his sisters, Elphy Lanier (Joey) and Vickie "Sinie" Wainwright (Rudolph); his pet Sandy; and his daughters, Amber and Taylor. He was also cherished by nephews and nieces.
