It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamar Cloud (Saint Marys, Georgia), born in Guntersville, Alabama, who passed away on July 6, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Hines (Will) and Lila Cloud; and his siblings, Opal Helms, Ossie Nell Touchstone, Gladys Norris, Will Cloud, Walter Dixon Cloud and Andrew Belson Cloud.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary Josephine Cloud; his children, Lamar Kevin Cloud (Anna), William Keith Cloud and Donna Lisa Cloud Cansler (Charles); his grandchildren, Rachel Ann Cloud, William Brent Cloud, James Heider Cloud, William Starbuck Cansler, Elizabeth Cauldwell Cansler, Catherine Furguson Cansler and Elsa Turner Cloud; and his sister Callie Sue Young. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made in memory of Lamar Cloud to the American Cancer Society.
