He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Padgett and Elva Eason Padgett; his sons, Jerry Lynn Padgett, Jr. and Michael Padgett; his grandson Travis Armstreet; and his brothers, Kenneth Padgett, Steve Padgett and Billy Padgett.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Padgett of St. Marys; his daughter Tammy Jones (Greg) of Blairsville, GA; and his siblings, Anthony Padgett (Shirley) and Sue Wilson of Waycross. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
