She was predeceased by: her parents, James Floyd Hunter and Vida Miles Hunter; her siblings, Caroline Harper and Donald Hunter; her husband Frank Smith; and her son Gerald Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Smith (Jackie) of Austell, GA. and Mark Smith (Christy) of Ft. Meade, MD.; and her grandchildren, Joy (Nick), Holly (Seth), Heather, Delaney, James (Natalia), Jonathan and Damaris.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (234 8th St, St Marys, GA 31558).
