He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Cox of Greeneville, Tennessee; his daughter Chastity; his grandsons, Jackson Sams of Greeneville, Sheldon Sams of Greeneville, Roger "Grant" Sams Jr. of Greeneville, Trevor Sams of Knoxville, Tennessee. and Ian "IJ" Henry; his great grandchildren, Marian "Mimi" Henry of Florida and Cydnee Sams of Knoxville, Tennessee.; his son-in-law James Henry of Florida; his daughter Chasity; his son-in-law Roger Sams; and his grandchild Sams Jr..
