Henry Bennett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Bennett of Saint Marys, Georgia, born in Screven, Georgia, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Essie Mae Stanfield and Walter Rulon Bennett; his wife Wanda Bennett Highsmith of Screven; his brothers, Autwey and Rulon Bennett; and his daughter-in-law Beverly Pittman Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Bridget Anne Bennett, Richard Walter Bennett of St. Marys and Robert Payne Bennett (Kim) of St. Marys; and his grandsons, Greg, Brooks Bennett of St. Marys and Benjamin Bennett (Amy) of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions can be made to St. Marys United Methodist Church (106 East Conyers Street, St. Marys, GA 31558), or to the Screven UMC Cemetery Fund (PO Box 158, Screven, GA 31560).
