She was predeceased by: her husband James Robert Payne; her parents, James W. "Jim" and Bobbie Jane Whitley Thomas; and her siblings, Michael Eugene Thomas, Betty Yvette Stafford, Tanya Gail Thomas, Yolanda Thomas and Tony Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Flippen of Carnesville and Tracy Wayne King of Lawrenceville; her siblings, Dana Keith Thomas of Carnesville, William Roy Thomas of Florida and Butch Thomas of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Dakota Escobar, Sykler Escobar, Briceson Lara and Tracey Queen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
