He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sumner and Linnie Champion Sumner; and his brothers, Steve Sumner and Carlton Sumner. He is survived by: his wife India Bullard Sumner; his children, Frank Sumner (Mega) and Kim Yarborough (David); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Emalee and Sarah Sumner; his siblings, Maggie Newman and Shirley Friend (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Sumner, Barb Sumner, Lu Bullard and Bill Bullard (Lydia). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Allison Memorial Chapel (10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
