Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Doug Harvey in Saint Marys, Georgia, born in Stephens, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 72, on August 12, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garvin "Peewee" Harvey and Jennell Alexander Oliver; his brother Donald Harvey; and his grandchildren, Lukas Berryman and Katie Williford.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Blakely Harvey; his children, Tamara Williford (Eric), Kirk Harvey (Towana) and Amanda Harvey Mathis (David); and his siblings, Ricky Oliver (Tammy), Randy Oliver (Sandy) and Annette Acuff (Walter). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Those in attendance are encouraged to adhere to social distancing and all other public health guidelines.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made to Bowersville Church of God.
