He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight Gatewood, Brenda Simpson and Michelle Groves; his aunt Dilla Walker; his great-aunt Meecy Simpson; and his great-uncle Joe Louis Jones. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
