It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleon Windham of Saint Marys, Georgia, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleon Windham and Ruth Windham; his siblings, James, Evie and Martha; and his stepdaughters, Sharon Kennedy and Patty Angel Liles.
He is survived by: his significant other Nita Windham; his children, Cleon Fuller "Windy" Windham, Jr., Sissy Grimsley (Steve) and Jeff Windham (Renea); his sister Margaret Waddell (Dean); and his stepchildren, Porter Angel (Domenica), Rob Angel (April) and Lara Revall (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Allison Memorial Chapel (10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558). A burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
