We bid farewell to Bernita Payton of Saint Marys, Georgia, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 29, 2024 at the age of 57. Bernita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard "Benny" Harris and Lois Naomi Edinburgh Thomas; her child LaRodrick Frison; her parents-in-law, Jesse Frison, Sr. and Minister Lois Frison of St. Marys, GA; and her sister-in-law Gloria Frison.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Frison; her children, Joshua Payton of Kingsland, GA, Marcia Hooks (TX), Octavia Frison and Ryan Frison; her sister Connie "Chunky" Hamilton; her siblings-in-law, Jesse Frison, Jr., Stacy Frison (Catrina) and Nadine Rauls (Edward, Jr.); and her godmother Yvonne E. Morris.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Allison Memorial Chapel (10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558).
