He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Satterfield and Leila Satterfield; and his brother Wilton Satterfield. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Satterfield; his children, Cheryl Charbonneau (Doug), Rex Satterfield and Tamra White (Kenneth); his stepchildren, Kathy Sivell (Ronnie), Jeff Sharpton (Susan), Greg Sharpton (Jenny) and Nancy Sharpton; his grandchildren, Brandon Charboneau (Jessica), Donovan Reddin (Alexis), Jamie Patrick (Shawn), Riley Bailey, Chance and Jessie Satterfield; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer, Julie Sharpton, Natalie, Caroline, Ella Stone, Silas and Isaac Sharpton; his grandson Shawn Patrick; his stepson Ronnie Sivell; and his nephew Tate Satterfield. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to James Satterfield, for the upkeep of the Satterfield Cemetery.
