He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Thomas (Jeff), Kristin Brooks Turner (Brandon) and Khaz Brooks; his siblings, Al Brooks (Susan), Iris McKinney (Carl Scoggins) and Carol Brooks Schibler (Rick); his grandchildren, Jacob Thomas, Lindsey Thomas, Jayquan Santiago Brooks and Keyanna Turner; and his great grandchild Jaxon Thomas.
