We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Gwendolyn Hamby of Rutledge, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Mae Wheeler Kennedy and John E. Kennedy; her son James "Jimmy" Hamby; and her brother Walton Kennedy. She is survived by: her sisters, Carolyn Hawk (Elmer), Evelyn Cureton and Janie Kennedy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She volunteered and supported the Source of Light Mission in Madison and also donated generously to many other churches and Christian charities.
