It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bond Bohannon of Rutledge, Georgia, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Harvey Bond and Dollye Missye Kimbell Bond; her siblings, John Harvey Jr. (late Jim) and Dolly Ann; her husband Franklin Shaw Bohannon (Bud); her children, Felton Harvey, Connie Jane Friar (late Daniel), Wendy Allison Gilbert (Timothy) and Kenneth Franklin Bohannon; her grandchildren, Andrea Christine Duckworth, Shannon Leigh Powers, Ashley Ann Krantz (Brent), Emily Jane Bohannon, Kenneth Gary Bohannon, Lauren Elizabeth Launius (Michael), Sarah Jean Rakestraw (Ryan) and Zachary Alexander Gilbert (Caylin); and also, Autrey Harper Bohannon, Gary, Lauren and Sarah. She was also cherished by twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Brownwood Baptist Church.
