He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Massey and Pauline Cochran Massey; his son James E. Massey; and his brothers, John "Jack" Massey and Donald A. Massey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Allen Massey; his sons, Steve Massey (Sheila) and Paul A Massey of Rupert; and his grandchildren, Broxton Massey, Kristen Hafeychuck (Steven), Matthew Massey (Bailee), Chris Massey and Keagen Massey. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
