He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard James Willis and Julia Reinhart Willis. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Willis of Rupert; his children, Glenna Lashley (Michael) of Ooltewah, TN, Becky Rivera (Paul) of Valley Head, AL, Clayton Willis of Butler and Matt Dixon (Nicole) of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Virginia Brady (Gene) of Greensboro, SC; his grandchildren, Brooke, Samuel, Mary, James, Isabella, Natalie, Hunter and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Leon and Isaiah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McLeighton Funeral Service - Butler (39 W Main St, Butler, GA 31006). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (349 Mt Pisgah Baptist Church Road, Mt Pisgah Cemetery, Butler, GA 31006).
