He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Julian Adams and Dessie McGill Adams; his wife Virginia Harbin Adams; and his siblings, Dorothy Heffernan, Calhoun, Laylon and Truitt Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Julian S. Adams (Lynne) of Hartwell and Andrea A. Anderegg (David L. Jr.) of Royston; his brother Kenton Adams (Corene) of Hartwell; his grandchildren, David Anderegg III (Christie) of Braselton, GA, Laura Anderegg of Atlanta, Katherine Rousseau (Tim) of Brooklyn, NY, Erin Anderson (Jacob) of Denver, CO, Ben Anderegg of Royston and Emily M. Adams of Jefferson; his great grandchildren, William Romeo Anderegg and Alex Adams; his stepgrandchildren, Benjamin DeWitt of Baku, Azerbaijan, Betsy DeWitt of Tallahassee, FL and Emily D. Fleckenstein of Cumming, GA; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Cora DeWitt, Violet DeWitt and Cecilia Fleckenstein.
