He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Simmons Rice; his parents, Louise Ayers Rice and John Jefferson Rice of Royston; his children, Rick Rice, Ken Rice and Chrissy Rice Evans; and his siblings, Gary "Ace" Rice of Royston, GA., Jerry "Scoot" Rice of Royston, GA., Marie Bellamy of Lavonia, GA., Linda Bagley, Teresa Harper and Merrie Mayo of Royston, GA.. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
