It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Fortson Strickland of Royston, Georgia, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett R. Fortson and Louise Vaughn Fortson; and her husband George Vernon Strickland. She is survived by: her children, George Everett Strickland (Karin) of Lavonia, GA, Thomas Fortson Strickland of White Oak, GA, Nancy Grace Strickland of Newnan, GA and Diana Strickland of White Oak, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
