He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Thomas "Hoss" Atkinson and Zerlene Iona Shuler Atkinson; and his brother Eric Atkinson. He is survived by: his sons, Seth Atkinson of Palatka, FL and Micah Atkinson of Palatka, FL; his fiancée Donna Burrell of Royston, GA; his brother Hal Atkinson of Bristol, FL; and his grandchildren, Mason Thomas Atkinson, Charlotte Rose Atkinson and Elizabeth Grace Atkinson.
