He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Bennett and Stella Mae Jones Bennett; his son Christopher Bennett; and his sister Evelyn Roberson. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Bennett Madrid of Royston; and his grandchildren, Jessica Ricketts, Hai Bennett, Linda Bennett and Tabatha Bennett.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
