He is survived by: his wife Alice Blackwell Hendrix; his children, Don Hendrix, Angela Morrison, Belinda Alexander (B. J.), Larry Phillips and Betty Isbell; and his sister Brenda Swafford. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
