He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sister Marilyn Messerly of Cumming; his sons, Jack Messerly (Laurie) of Roswell and Jimmy Messerly (Cindy) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Blake Messerly, Kate Messerly Bruner (Alex), Brice Messerly, Anna Messerly Singer (Jack), Molly Messerly Porter (Zach) and Maggie Messerly; and his great grandchild James Bruner, Jr..
