He was predeceased by: his parents, Natvarlal Mehta and Lalitaben Mehta; and his siblings, Sumitra, Vinod and Neela.
He is survived by: his brothers, Kirit and Ashok (Dipti); his children, Ami (Andy) and Amar (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Rohan, Bella, Leela, Karina, Veda and Nora.
