He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Lawrence Talmadge Erwin; his aunt Frances; his uncle Tim McGahee; his wife Nancy Adler Erwin; his brothers, Lawrence Erwin (Monica) and Kent Erwin (Katie); his children, John Erwin (Sarah), David Erwin (Alex) and Sarah Wallace (Brian); and his grandchildren, Lorelai, Cecilia, Jack Erwin, Savannah Erwin, James Talmadge Erwin and Lucy Elise Wallace.
