He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Wells and Dona Wells; and his siblings, James Wells, Bruce Wells, Kyle Wells, Carl Wells, Frank Wells, Bonnie Newman and Sue Terrill.

He is survived by: his wife Bessie Alice Wells; his son Scott Allen Wells (Jill Renee); his grandchildren, Caroline Ann and Connor Allen; and his siblings, Judy Trent and Jerry Wells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pathway to Work, https://azpathwaytowork.org. a cause close to Neil's heart.
