With solemn reverence, we commemorate Michael O'Brien of Roswell, Georgia, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose life came to an end on December 19, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean; his siblings, Jerry, Peter, Robin, John, Neal and Eileen; and his parents, Cletus O'Brien and Milmer O'Brien.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly O'Brien Williams (Ron) and Robin Marie Valls (Guillermo); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Lowe (Justin), Kelsey Taylor (Drew), Guille Valls, Hope Valls, Michael Valls, Gabriel Valls and Bridget Valls; his great grandchildren, Joel Vaughan, Scarlett Lowe, Noah Taylor, Ryleigh Lowe, Aiden Taylor and Shelby Lowe; and his sister Kathleen Price. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory (12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepard Catholic Church (3740 Holtzclaw Rd, Cumming, GA 30041). A burial will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
