It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Wood (Roswell, Georgia), born in Kenilworth, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Williams and Helen Williams (Peter); her sisters, Karen Vratimos and Noel Purcell; and her son-in-law Matt Muzik.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Fithian (Ted), Elizabeth Wood (Dan Powers), Margaret Whiting (Carl) and Charlotte Muzik; her sister Gwain Griffin; and her grandchildren, Drew Fithian (Cate), Jessica Williamson (Grant), Marie Fithian, Joanna Ross (Evan), Oliver Whiting, William Whiting (Sophie), Bennet Robbins (Emme Lis) and Avery Robbins (Shelby Chinappi).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lynn's name to The Women's Board Endowed Fund for Research and Clinical Trials to support cancer research.
