He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloisa Perales and Raul Perales. He is survived by: his wife Carmen M. Perales; his sons, Jorge (Marie), Ralph (Julia) and Miguel (Darlene); his grandchildren, Julianna, Aimee, Brandon, Chase, Austin, Mitchell and James; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Audrey and Jackson; and his siblings, Rodolfo and Gloria.
