He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolph Stone and Elizabeth Smith Stone; his wife Mary Jane Warren Stone; and his brothers, John R. Stone (Janet) of Redwood City, CA and Samuel S. Stone (Rose) of Hendersonville, NC. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
