She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Steis and Helen Steis. She is survived by: her husband James M. Pace, Jr.; her daughters, Sharon Proudfoot (Harry) of Brunswick, Georgia, Susan Foster (Brian) of Marietta, Georgia, Linda Pace of Marietta, Georgia and Emily McCoy (Mark) of Athens, Georgia.; her granddaughters, Abby Foster and Samantha Foster of Marietta; and her sister Marjorie Bowling (Betty Dozier) of LaGrange, Georgia.
