She was predeceased by: her brother James Allan. She is survived by: her husband Doug Brown; her son Glenn Brown; her daughter-in-law Deborah Brown; her grandchildren, Ransom Brown, Alec Brown and Annika Brown; and her sister Eleanor McPhail. She is also survived by relatives, including nephews, nieces and countless friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the John Knox Presbyterian Church (35 Shannon Dr, Greenville, SC 29615).
