He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clay Smith and Pamela Harris Smith; and his grandparents, William Arnold Smith, Arritta Louise Smith, Frank Harris and Dorothy Kibbey Harris.

He is survived by: his brother Jason Bradley Smith (Brad); his sister-in-law Lauren Gilbert Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Emily Victoria Smith and Emerson Bradley Smith. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
