She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. Stanford and Evelyn Baker Stanford; and her siblings, T. C. Brewster, Jr. and Dorothy Jones Luongo. She is survived by: her husband Clinton M. Alston; and her daughters, Carole Sopko (Steve) and Ann Deal (Bob). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
