She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Eilers and Edith Eilers; and her brother Barry. She is survived by: her husband Robert Alexander; her children, Ryan Alexander (Kate) and Jenifer Johnson (Mark); and her grandson James Palmer Alexander (JP).

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family has requested in memory of Cheryl to donate to the American Diabetes Association.
