It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Johanna Turner (Roswell, Georgia), born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zale and Iva Van Zale; her husband A. William Turner (Bill); her close friend Shelby Woods; and her brother-in-law Dave Shewfelt.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Washburn (Andrew), T. J. Turner (Karin), George Turner (Michelle) and Maxine Turner; her grandchildren, Tara Martindale (Kent), Jared Turner (Amelia), Susan Washburn, Johnny Turner (Erica), Jana Sandoval (Justin), Lauren Hafner (Walt), Kyle Turner (Julia), Mark Washburn (Rachael), Corey Turner and David Turner (Mary); her sisters, Elaine Shewfelt and Martha Bright (Randy); and her brothers-in-law, Jonathan Turner (Gidget) and David Turner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
