He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Black and Olen Butler; and his sister Linda Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Butler; his sister-in-law Renee Lyle (Lamar Elrod); his children, Vickie Mabry (Gary), Richard Butler (Darlene), Mike Butler (Bethany), Lori Adkison (Robert) and Lynne Chalkiadi (Eric); and his grandchildren, Claire, Eve, Ryan, Kevin, Jacob, Isaac, Hannah, Macayla and Ethan. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
