It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Doris Giles of Roswell, Georgia, born in Glendale, South Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Parker Davis and Margaret Maebell Thompson Davis of Forest City, NC.; her husband Gene; her sister Mary; and her son-in-law Doug Wilmer.
She is survived by: her children, Garia Ann Giles Wilmer of Clearwater Beach, FL and Randy Parker Giles; her daughter-in-law Debbie Faulkner Giles; her son Gene Ivy Giles II of Atlanta, GA; her niece Debra Scoggins (Bruce Yager) of Forest City, NC; her nephew Gene (Alice Scoggins) of Travelers Rest, SC; her granddaughters, Kimberley Michelle Zane Manning (Scott Manning) of Roswell, GA and Dr Cristina Alice Giles of Parker, CO; her stepgranddaughter Shana DeLuca of Alpharetta, GA; her great grandchildren, Kaelie Makenna and Kinsey Shea Dodson of Roswell, GA; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Madison Manning of Roswell, GA and Emily DeLuca of Alpharetta, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Ron and Laura Giles of Rutherfordton, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew and good friends.
