He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Smith and Charlcie Ashley Smith. He is survived by: his wife Madie Nesmith Smith; his children, Michele Robertson (Daryl) and Steven Smith (Michele); and his grandchildren, Amber Smith, Brandon Smith, Kailyn Robertson, Brent Robertson, Erin Smith and Tyler Smith. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.
