He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Clark Donovan and Genevieve Clift Donovan; his wife Barbara Ann Elder Donovan; and also Freckles. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Kent Donovan, Jr. (Kathy) of Millsboro and Laura Smith (Jeff) of Whitwell; his grandchildren, Thomas Donovan III, Hannah Kujawa (Nicholas), Summer Walsh (Sean), Christopher Donovan and Rachel Smith; and his great grandchildren, Ryker and Sutton Kujawa.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Chattanooga Zoo.
