He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Masiers, Sr. and Annie Mae Masiers; and his adoptive parents, Annie Violet Wilhoite and Charles Frank Wilhoite. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wilhoite; his children, Sarah Wilson and Charles Wilhoite; and his stepchildren, Victoria Chase and Chris Norman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
