She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Arnold Stallings and Gazzie Lea Stallings; her husband William R. Hughes; her daughter Renva L. Hughes; and her siblings, Edith Biddle, Travis Stallings, Battie Coleman and Winola Roden.
She is survived by: her son William Lamar Hughes; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hughes (Sabrina) and Kristy Mancilla (Alonzo). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
