He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hammond; and his parents, George Hammond and Juanita Hammond. He is survived by: his son Jerry Hammond (Becky); his grandchildren, Jade Hammond (Samantha), Leslie, Rachel, Jaycie Wilson, Rich Aycock (Jess), Scott Aycock (Sami), Trey and Brody Aycock; his sister Barbara Jones; his nephew Mark Jones (Paula); and his niece Karen Russell (Steve). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
