With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary North (Rossville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mary leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar L. Sims, Sr. and Ollie Sharp Sims of Rossville; her husband William L. North, Sr. (Bill); her daughter Patricia Kay North; and her brothers, Sims, Jr. (Louise) of Chattanooga and Carl Sims (Hazel) of Oak Ridge.
She is survived by: her son William Lawrence North Jr. (Sherry); her granddaughter Mary Allison North of Jonesboro; her sisters-in-law, Maxine North and Mildred North; and her niece Jo Lynn Sims.
