She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ryans and Margaret E. Leffew; her husband Newell Edward "Ed" Shubert Jr.; her siblings, Faye Conley, Marsha Morrison and Johnny Ryans; and her grandmother Julia Dunlap.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa D. Payne (Charles Mashburn), Patty (Jeff Collins) and Curtis Shubert; her siblings, James Robert "Jim Bob" Ryans (Agnes), Thomas Walter Ryans Jr., Richard "Dick" Ryans and Alan Ryans; her grandchildren, Kathey Blea, Mandy Christopher (Matt), Ashley Orton and Jonathan Collins (Rhonda); and her sister-in-law Juanita Hickey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bible Way Baptist Church (2502 Lakeview Dr, Rossville, GA 30741). A burial was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Gardens South Email (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741). A reception will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741).
