He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ruskaup; and his parents, Charles Ruskaup and Evelyn Ruskaup. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Petersen and Paula Bolton; his grandson Jacob Petersen; and his close friend Melissa Abel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory-South Crest (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
