He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. S. Paul Stone and Beatrice Ross Stone; and his wife Betty Urban Stone. He is survived by: his children, Paul Stone (Darlene) of Ringgold, GA., Libby Cooke of Ringgold, GA. and Andrew Stone (Amy) of Ringgold, GA.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the General Fund at Boynton United Methodist Church in Ringgold, GA.
